Three doctors will speak on medical and health issues that bother people, especially seniors, at a meeting to be held in a R A Puram hospital on February 16.
This event is presented by Raja Annamalai Puram Residents’ Association (RAPRA) in association with Billroth Hospital and it is on February 16, 11 am onwards at Billroth and is open to all.
Dr Mallika Thiruvadanan will speak on palliative care , Dr U V Ramakrishnan on respiratory problems in old age and Dr Amalorpavanathan will speak on organ donation and how one can go about it.
There is to be a session on organ donation conducted by a representative from Transplant Authority of Tamil Nadu. This has been arranged because many people are curious about organ donation but are not fully aware of the process, said a member of RAPRA.
Attendees will be screened for BP, sugar and BMI – all done free of charge.
