Small changes continue to be made on the Royapettah Hugh Road side of Mylapore for work related to Chennai Metro.
Recently, a section of Royapettah High Road, outside Sanskrit College has been shrunk to facilitate the rail work.
This section of the busy road had been barricaded to facilitate smooth movement of vehicles like bikes and autos.
The MTC bus stand, which was rendered useless since the barricaded area was ‘no go’ zone for MTC buses, has been shifted.
It is now located near an area where a private petrol station existed and was closed about a year ago.
