Teppam utsavam of Sri Adi Kesavaperumal Temple gets underway

The placid waters of the Chitrakulam reflected a myriad colours – pink, blue, white, yellow red and the rest – as the annual teppam utsavam of Sri Adi Kesavaperumal Temple got underway in Mylapore on January 29. It will go on till Feb.2

The teppam was beautifully decorated and illuminated.

Once the deities, brought here in procession, were seated inside the float, people stepped into some of the spaces available off the tank to take in the unique event and pray in silence.

The utsavam runs for five days and is held in the evenings, ariund 6.30 p.m.
