Brahma Gana Sabha’s Season festival rolls out on Thursday. With concerts held over 50 days – with generous support from patron Nalli Kuppuswami.
The 2025 fest on Dec.12 at TAG-Dakshinamurthi Hall in the P. S. School campus, Mylapore with Sandhya Purecha, head of Sangeet Natak Akademi, the chief guest.
It is also an occasion to decorate artistes; A. Kanyakumari, C. V. Chandra Mohan, Parvathi Ravi Ghatasala and Suguna Varadachari are listed for honours.
For 15 evenings, there are a string of music concerts at this hall, the 6.30 p.m. one by established artistes – Sid Sriram, Palghat Ramprasad, Carnatica Bros. and Pantula Rama, to mention a few.
Then, follow the classical dance recitals.
The dance dramas will be held at Narada Gana Sabha,” says sabha secretary Ravichandran, who is the A to Z man of this sabha.
Once the dance recitals end around Pongal time, there is the nagaswaram festival, featuring some top artistes.o –
