Credit must be given to the city civic body, GCC for improved work on the drains in parts of Mylapore which were flooded in the past monsoon.
Places like P S Sivaswami Salai, Balakrishnan Street and Brindavan Street continue to see stagnating water after a good spell of rain; as it did on Tuesday. But hours after the rain breaks, the water drains off.
This morning, the Mylapore Times photographer Madhan Kumar visited the three areas and shared photos of a wet road/street and no water stagnation.
