The Department of Electronics and Communication Science at Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for
Women recently conducted an E-waste awareness programme for the students.
This programme educated students about the harmful effects of improper disposal of e-
waste, said a note from the college.
The department set up e-waste disposal bins on campus, encouraging responsible
disposal by faculty, staff, and students.
Around 600 kilograms of e-waste was collected and handed over to Victory Recovery and Recycle Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. for recycling.
