Admissions are open for all courses conducted by the Tamil Nadu Dr. J Jayalalithaa Music and Fine Arts University which has its campus in south R. A. Puram.
Apart from the regular MA courses in music and in dance and the MFA course in art, there are other interesting courses for all. They are – the MA weekend only course in vocal, mridangam and dance. A course in fine arts and visual communication.
A course in Indian theatre arts for holistic development. A course that allows a student to learn folk music and villupattu.
And a six months course in music therapy.
There is also a unique bridge course for those who want to do a masters in music/dance but do not have a under-grad degree in either of these subjects.
