This event is part of the Dalit History Month celebrations hosted by Neelam and promoted by film maker Pa. Ranjith, hosting events on cinema, photography, theatre and the arts on, by and of Dalits in India.
Lots of leading writers and thinkers are lined up as speakers at the weekend lit meet.
It ends on Sunday, April 28, with an award to senior writer Bama. A docu film on Bama will be screened. This session is after the tes break.
Sessions start at 10am, go on through the day and are open to all.
