TASMAC ‘s liquor shops as well as its Elite shops in the Mylapore zone attracted a heavy rush on Tuesday, since the shops will be shut till polling day.
The shop off Thirumylai MRTS station and the Elite liquor sales shop in R A Puram saw a big crowd of shoppers in the evenings, as people bought to stock up for the ‘dry’ days.
These shops will be closed again on June 4, Tuesday when counting of the votes is scheduled.
