Sangitha Kalanidhi awardees Lalgudi GJR Krishnan and Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi are to be honoured on March 2 evening at the 62nd Thyagaraja aradhana fest of R A Puram Bhakta Jana Sabha.
The violinist-duo will perform that evening, 6.30 pm.
On Sunday. March 3, there is the group singing by artistes of Thyagarja’s pancharatna kritis, 10.30 am onwards. The morning event starts at 6 am with the Upanisad parayanam.
The two-day fest is at Sringeri Pravachana Mandiram, opp. Mandaveli MRTS railway station.
