Classical dancer and teacher Vasanthalakshmi Narasimhachari who is based in Alwarpet was decorated with the prestigious Nritya Kalanidhi award on January 3 evening by The Music Academy at the Academy’s auditorium located off TTK Road.
A large number of the awardee’s sishyas and well-wishers attended the event and felicitated Vasanthalakshmi informally after the event
This event launched the Academy’s 17th dance festival, which is on till Jan.9. Concerts are ticketed; two recitals every evening.
