The students of Hamsanadam Music School which is based in the Mylapore zone have won many prizes in a classical music contest where the theme was the compositions of Dr. Rukmani Ramani.
This competition was conducted recently by Shivanugraha Trust and the finale was held at a hall of Narada Gana Sabha, Alwarpet.
A trophy was given to Dr Shubha Ganesan, who runs the music school, by Dr. Nithyashree Mahadevan for receiving the maximum number of prizes in all categories.
40 students from Hamsanadam participated in this event and bagged many prizes in the group and individual categories.
