Medha Kannan, a 11th grade student at Vidya Mandir, Luz had her Bharatanatyam arangetram on October 8 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore.
Medha has been learning dance for the past eight years under the guidance of her teacher, Hemalatha Ramachandran.
She has been part of her teacher’s dance troupe which has performed at dance and temple festivals.
She is a budding orator, having won an oratory contest that took her to South Korea. She is also passionate about basketball. The family resides in Alamelumangapuram, Mylapore.
