Residents of Jeth Nagar are highlighting the flooding that takes place in their colony 1st Main Road.
And they shared photos shot after the heavy rain on Saturday which showed the rain water stagnating.
Said Ravi N., a community activist here, “We have been raising the need for SWD here but we only get lame answers. Imagine the state of this area at monsoon time.”
Ravi says sometimes, the water stagnation seems to also affect the power cables underground and smoke can be seen emanating from the sidewalk area on this road.
