Hawkers have set up stalls on North Mada Street, Mylapore to sell images of lord Ganesha for Sri Vinayaka Chathurthi festival. The stalls came up on Friday noon.
Prices range from Rs.50 to Rs.3000.
The images are in different sizes. However, hardly any hawker I selling plain, simple clay images of Ganesha. Some hawkers say that such images may be on sale on Sunday / Monday.
Hawkers on South Mada Street, who generally sell vegetables, may also put up stalls selling clay images and all the needs for the festival.
