One of the worst roads in Mylapore zone, St. Mary’s Road is being relaid now.
The section of this busy road, from Devanathan Road junction to the Mandaveli Post Office – R K Mutt Road end was lying pot-holed for months and nothing was done despite complaints from people.
The past days, the road has been milled and is being relaid, says community activist C. R. Balaji who also shared a photo of the road as it is today.
Balaji says that this issue was debated at the ‘area sabha one’ meeting which the ward councillor of ward 126 had held last Saturday.
