Residents of Karpagambal Nagar have reported this morning that a major civic issue is affecting movement of vehicles as well as pedestrians in this zone now.
They say that TANGEDCO’s local unit had undertaken extensive work at at the Musiri Subramaniam Road junction, adjoining the wall of Vivekananda College, but the excavated site was not redone properly and it has sunk as result of rains over the recent days.
Also, barricades are lying all over the place.
Being a busy traffic movement area, more at peak hours, this civic hiccup is posing a problem. Students walking to the college here also need to negotiate this messy place.
