Choir Sunday was observed at the 180-year-old St. Thomas English Church on August 27 in the morning worship service.
Led by the choir director, Anila Manoharan, the choristers sang many old and new songs and hymns on the theme ‘Walk with God’ and took an active role in the morning service.
Rev. Anitha Christian, the presbyter, was the celebrant.
The Choir Sunday is an eagerly awaited annual event of the church. A video recording of the choral singing can be viewed on the Church’s YouTube channel.
