Badri Seshadri given conditional bail

The District Munsif – cum- Judicial Magistrate Court in Kunnam has granted conditional bail to Badri Seshadri, publisher and political commentator and Mylapore resident after he was arrested by the police of Perambalur district police for his comments made on a YouTube interview, critical of Chief Justice of India  and on the Supreme Court on a case related to the Manipur violence.

He was arrested on Saturday morning from his house on Warren Road.

The court directed Badri to sign at the Srirangam police station in Tiruchi city at 10 a.m. every day for a period of 15 days.
