The community of Our Lady of Guidance Church parish in R. A. Puram is celebrating the feast of Mother Mary on the 6th of August.
The flag hoisting was held on the 29th of July.
On Sunday, July 30, at 7.30 am, 36 children of the parish received Holy Communion.
The service was held in English and in Thamizh.
The main celebrant for the Holy Mas was Fr. Y. L. Irudhaya Raj, principal of St. Bedes Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School in San Thome.
Parish priest Fr. Y. F. Bosco distributed communion to the children and later presented them with a rosary, scapular and a certificate.
Special preparatory classes were taken for the children for a month. They were coached by Judie in English and by Premila Hyacinth in Thamizh.
