Sri Ramakrishna Math based in Mylapore has just completed its valedictory events marking 125 years in service. The events were held on March 25 and 26.
The Day One function started with vedaparayanam mangalarati.
Swami Dharmishthananda, manager welcomed the gathering. Swami Harivrathananda, Swami Athmaganananda, Swami Sukhadevananda, Swami Nithyasthananda, who are senior monks addressed the audience.
Monks and brahmacharis of the Ramakrishna Order participated in the function.
At one event, chief guests and well-wishers like Nalli Kuppusamy Chetti, K. N. Ramasamy, M. Murali, Varadarajan and Sivakumar participated and shared their experiences.
Swami Suvirananda, general secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Mission, Belur Headquarters, delivered a special lecture and Srimat Swami Gautamananda, vice president of Ramakrishna Math and Mission, Belur Math, gave benedictory address.
