The sampradayam of singing bhajans around Abbotsbury Apartments on C P Ramaswamy Road, Alwarpet had been initiated by Mahalakshmi in 2016.
This season, it continues every morning.
It has been ably led by trained persons over the weekends of Margazhi when the group meets to practice. With the advance of technology, the bhajans are recorded, practiced and then sung in the procession around the campus.
Neivedyams are also joyfully made in turns by a few residents. Certainly, a community celebration.
