Brahma Gana Sabha, which does not have an auditorium of its own, will host its December Season concerts at five different venues this year.
This is because the access to the regular hall – Sivagami Pethachi Auditorium on Luz Church Road, Alwarpet – is narrowed now, thus giving no way for vehicular movement, now due to work on Chennai Metro rail project.
So the sabha opens its fest at R R Sabha, has concerts for 4 days here – featuring S Sowmya, Ranjani- Gayathri, Sanjay Subrahmanyam and Sid Sriram – and moves to TAG Centre on TTK Road, then to Arkay Centre, and on to Narada Gana Sabha and has its dance concerts at R K Swamy Hall, near R R Sabha.
The sabha will host its full-fledged festival anyway.
