This annual Raga Identification Competition for Carnatic music rasikas is organised jointly by The Music Academy, TAG Corporation and Ramu Endowments. If you can identify a raga and the voice just by listening to an audio clipping, then this competition is for you.
The event, on Oct.16, begins at 10 a.m. and is at Kasturi Srinivasan Hall, Music Academy campus There is no registration fee, no age limit and the event is open to individual contestants only. Performing musicians and advanced students are requested not to sign up.
