Mylapore Times editor-publisher Vincent D’ Souza will lead a Heritage Tour themed ‘Sunken Villages of North Madras’ as part of the Madras Day 2022 celebrations. This is on Sunday early morning.
The tour asks participants to board a van outside The Mylapore Club, Luz.
North Madras residents and artists, Manavalan and Jothi, join Vincent D’ Souza to lead this tour by van and walk, to colonies north of Kasimedu which are now under water: sharing stories of their lives and loves of times when the colonies existed pre-1970s.

Booking closes Aug. 12, 9 am. Open to first 25 people. The only pickup point is outside The Mylapore Club, Luz Church Road, Luz. At 6.30am. ( Public parking space available here).
Tour starts at Royapuram at 7 am. For about 90mins. Van will get back to Luz, can drop off people on the way.
