Retired Assistant Head Master of San Thome Hr. Secondary School, San Thome C. Sundararajan passed away on July 5. He was 83 and a resident of Alwarpet.
Hailing from Srirangam, Sundararajan studied at Vivekananda College, Mylapore, completing his M. Sc. in math. He then completed his M. Ed. course and joined San Thome school as math teacher. He rose to become Assistant Head Master, serving the school for over 35 years.
His family said Sundararajan was a keen drama enthusiast and directed plays involving students at the school for the annual day and culturals. He was also interested in cricket and followed the game closely.
The family lived on Brindavan Street for some 30 years before moving to Alwarpet. After retirement, he took math tuitions.
He leaves behind his wife Vijayalakshmi and sons, S. Srikanth and S. Rajesh Krishnan.
