The annual Navaratri celebrations at Sri Kapali Tenple ended on Friday with the parivettai utsavam on occasion of Vijayadasami.
Since the temple, like all others were open now to the public on weekends, there was a sizeable crowd in the evening.
A grand, illuminated kolu stood in the western end of the temple, to the delight of children who were here with their guardians.
