As a part of annual Masi Bramotsavam Thiruvizha at Sri Virupaksheeswarar Temple, Mylapore, panch murthi purapadu (procession of five deities) was held on Feb 11.
The deities of Sri Virupaksheeswarar in chandra prabai, goddess Visalakshi, Sri Murugar, Sri Vinayakar and Sri Chandikeeshwarar were taken in procession around the streets surrounding the temple at 7 30 pm.
The thiruvizha will be on till Feb 20 at Virupaksheeswarar Temple, P V Koil Street, Karneeswarapuram, Mylapore.
