Here is a look at events planned at temples in the neighbourhood for Arudra Darshanam.
– At Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore, Arudra Darshanam will be celebrated on Dec 22 at 5 a.m. Theethavari and veedi purappadu will follow.
– At Sri Malleeswarar Temple, Mylapore, a special abhishekam will be held for Sri Natarajar on Dec 22 at 7 p.m. Arudra darshanam will be celebrated on Dec 23 at 5.30 a.m.
-At Sri Velleeswarar Temple, Mylapore, Arudra Darshanam is on Dec 22 at 6 a.m. Veedi purappadu will follow.
– At Sri Karaneeswarar Temple, Mylapore, Arudra darshanam and saptapathi utsavam is on Dec 22 at 8 a.m. Veedi purappadu will follow. At 9 a.m., the idols of Lord Natarajar from several temples in the neighbourhood including Sri Karaneeswarar Temple, Sri Valleeswarar Temple, Sri Virupaksheeswarar Temple, Sri Veerabhadrar Temple and Sri Thiruvallur Temple will be taken in a procession to VSV Koil Street where a deepa aradhanai will be held for all the idols.
At Sri Virupaksheeswarar Temple, Mylapore, Arudra darshanam is on Dec 22 at 7 a.m. Veedi purappadu will follow.
