The body of a 53 year old man was retrieved from Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple tank by Mylapore police yesterday (Mar.8) morning.
According to police sources, Devaraj, a resident of Thiruvanmiyur, worked as a watchman at the Customs office in north Chennai.
He had addicted to liquor and was irregular at work, police said. His body has been sent to the Government Hospital at Royapettah for post-mortem.
A case has been registered at Mylapore and an investigation is going on.
