SunEdison has donated and set up a 100 kilowatt solar power system at the Sri Ramakrishna Mission Students’ Home in Mylapore to help the organization cut down on its TANGEDCO bills. This is the second such facility that has been set up here. Pasupathy Gopalan, who heads the Asia-Pacific operations of the company was present.
Over 700 students study and reside here as the Home cares for the less privileged and banks on social and community support. It is located on P S Sivaswamy Salai.
The Home’s secretary swami Satyajanandha was among those present for this launch.
