Theatre artist ARS, Narayana Rao – vice president of Stree Seva Mandir, Sulochana Natarajan – director of Music Division, RMCL, Bangalore, Kamala Parasuram, managing director of Kappa Electricals, Poonam Natarajan – chairperson of National Trust, S. Mahalingam, former CFO of TCS, Dr. Prasad, founder/director of Pathway, Nandita Krishnan, hon. director of C. P. Ramaswamy Foundation and Radha Ganesan, managing director of Swabodhini are the guests of honour at RASA’s silver jubilee to be held on Oct 24.
Three films “A lyrical journey” by Vaishnavi Poorna, “A story of love, life and laughter” by Kavipriya – founder and CEO of Adding Smiles and “Margadarsi” – a film on Dr. Ambika Kameshwar by Mala Manyan will be released. Members who have put in 10- 21 years of service at RASA will be honoured. Cultural programmes which will follow the book release function include a performance by RASA’s special theatre group – FEEEEST and a dance theatre production on Festivals of India by the children of Vijay Vidya School and Bala Mandir. At Narada Gana Sabha, TTK Road, Alwarpet, 5.30 p.m. onwards.
