A docu-film on late S. Rajam, musician, artist, actor and writer has just been made.
Its release is due on Nov.11, 2 p.m. onwards at the Tattvaloka Auditorium in Teynampet, Chennai.
Written and directed by S B Khnathan and Lalitha Ram, the film looks at all the fascinating aspects of this rare artiste who was a Mylaporean all his life ( Nadu Street resident) and passed away some years ago.
The DVD has been produced by Swati Solutions and is called ‘Sakala Kala Acharyar. It documents much of Rajam’s paintings – he the one known for visualising the Carnatic music trinity, images of which are seen around the world.
Actor Sivakumar and Crazy Mohan and arts promoter Cleveland V V Sundaram are the guests at this event. The DVD will also be put up for sale.
The event is open to all.
