A Heritage Walk down North Mada Street, Mylapore is to be held on Oct.14, Sunday evening.
It is organised by Mylapore Times, the neighbourhood newspaper and Yocee, a web site for children. It starts at 4.30 p.m. and will end by 5.15 p.m.
The Walk aims to show guests on this Walk new and unique dolls of the season which are now on sale by hawkers on this road, the stories behind them and to explore the street culture on the eve of Navaratri.
The walk will be led by R. Revathi of Yocee and will start at the entrance of Indian Bank at the Ramakrishna Math Road-North Mada Street junction.
Open to all. No registration required. Just land up at the start point.
