Vedantham Srinivasan, advocate, former President and Trustee of The Mylapore Club, passed away on May 3.
He hailed from an orthodox family of Sri Vaishnavites of Kumbakonam, and was well known for mastery in Sanskrit and Vedic literature.
He was born in 1930 in Triplicane and was an alumnus of the Hindu High School, Triplicane, Loyola College and Law College Madras.
After graduation he joined as an apprentice with late V. C. Gopalratnam, advocate. He also appeared with him in several important court cases.
He was also a part time lecturer at Loyola College and at Institute of Chartered Accountants.
