The annual teppam festival at Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple will be held at the temple tank on Feb.7, 8 and 9 from 6 p.m. onwards.
On day one, the image of Lord Shiva in the teppam which will make five rounds inside the tank.
On day two, the image of Lord Muruga will be taken in the teppam on seven rounds.
And on the final evening, the images of Lord Muruga and his concerts Valli and of Devayani will be taken in 9 rounds.
Temple officials say that people will not be allowed inside the tank because the water level is high and they want to be cautious.
