Rajalakshmi Seshadri a long time resident of Mylapore passed away on September 8. She was 100 years old. She was the wife of late Prof. P. Seshadri.
Rajalakshmi shifted to Madras in 1942 when her husband passed away. Prof. P. Seshadri was the principal at the Government College in Ajmer. He was a well known educationist at that time.
She had been a resident of Seshadri Road (name after her husband) from the time she came to Madras.
The secret of her good health and longevity were her good habits and physical exercise, says her son.
She had been writing her personal diary for the last 75 years, he added.
Her daughter, late Usha Nath was the wife of Dr. N. C. A. Nath, Director (Commercial), Steel Authority of India and Chairman, State Trading Corporation.
She is survived by her sons P. S. Seshadri and P. R. Seshadri.
