‘Fusion’ food served in quiet nook

Dewberry’s is a new restaurant that is opened on a street off Dr. Radhakrishnan Road that claims to offer world fusion cuisine to diners.

You can choose from a menu of Pastas, Sizzlers, Crepes, Burgers, Wraps, Espresso and Fruitletters.

Fruitletters is our signature dish, says Kavitha Subramanian, the co-owner (seen in the pic. with Chef Thangamani).

“We serve fresh fruits as a main or side dish in the menu. It can be consumed plain, sweet or in the form of savouries,” she says.

The restaurant is set in the Al Fresco style and has canopies above each table that protects you from the sunlight.

There are 35 tables set in the 1500 sq.ft. area.

“We are a group of friends and cousins who started this place. Our love for food was the inspiration for this restaurant,” says Kavitha.

The place is open from 12.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and serves a fixed menu. It also provides take ways.

It is located at 6/29, ‘Rajam’, Rajasekaran St. (adjacent to Van Heusen showroom on Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai), Mylapore.  Reservation can be done at 2847 3439.
