S.Krishnambal wife of the late T.V.Subramaniam and mother of T.S.Viswanathan passed away on October 8.
She was one of the oldest residents of Mandavallipakkam who had settled here from 1955.
She was involved in various cultural activities and was the Chairperson of Sadhana Women’s Wing of Kalyananagar Association, West circular Road, Mandavalli. Besides this, she was also the sponsor of various religious activities here and also at her native village.
She was a veena player and had a profound interest in Carnatic music. She leaves behind one son and three daughters. She lived with her son at 68 Brindavan , 4th trust cross street, Mandavalli. Her son, Viswanthan can be reached at 98401 77092.
N. Soorian Pillai passed away on October 1 in Chennai.
He had been living in Mylapore for more than 40 years and was into the food grain busineess.
He was man of mission and had a very good reputation all over India, says his family.
