Local area officials of Chennai Corporation have slapped a notice on what they see as a flagrant
encroachment on Warren Road and this after local social activists pushed the issue that was not acted on quickly.
The encroachment is in the form. of two sheds that has taken up pavement space from the space where the owner of the shed operates.
Activists say that the owner of the sheds has not moved an inch after the first GCC notice was pasted on the shed.
GCC officials of GCC division 123 say that they will act against any serious encroachment in the area.
