The Sri Ayyappa Temple in MRC Nagar was decorated with a variety of fresh flowers and vegetables on the occasion of Tamil New Year and Malayalam New Year.
As people streamed into the temple since dawn, they offered prayers and then went around to show their children the decoration of fruits and vegetables which is done every day fore this day.
The eyesore though is that the fruits and veggies are wrapped in plastic.
