A giant branch of an old peepul tree on St. Mary’s Road in Mandaveli came crashing down on Monday, around noontime.
It badly damaged two autos that was parked under it and affected traffic movement. People were not injured or hurt.
Police, GCC and Urbaser staff rushed to the spot, chopped the branch off the tree and cleared the road.
