Are you the one who has been keen to go on a run every morning but never got going? Here is help. For beginners.

Chennai Runners has launched its latest edition of  its ‘Couch to 5K’ programme, a free initiative for everyone aged 15 and above.

This structured eight-week programme begins on April 1 and will be held in person three days a week at over 20 locations throughout the city.

For those in Mylapore, Mandaveli, Alwarpet, R. A. Puram and Abiramapuram, the nearest training site is led by CR Pettai Rappers, outside PNB Bank on C. P. Ramaswamy Road, Alwarpet.

All sessions will occur on-site, not virtually, and will conclude with a timed 5K event requiring a participation fee. Further details regarding the training schedule and timings will be shared after registration.
