Every year, Carnatic music maestro and mridangam vidwan Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman honours senior artistes under the banner of his Laya Laavanyaa Fine Arts Foundation based in Mylapore.
For 2025, this event was held on March 15 at Narada Gana Sabha mini hall in Alwarpet.
Four senior artistes were honoured and given a purse of Rs.50,000 each.
The artistes were Bombay Jayashri, Sembanarkoil S. R. G. Rajanna, Dandamudi Sumathi Rammohan Rao and Sukanya Ramgopal.
