March 30 is celebrated as World Idli Day.
To celebrate the day, Sangeetha restaurants are offering this Sunday a variety of idli-combos across the city.
This morning as Sangeetha’s on South Mada Street, people were tucking into their staple idli and chutney – sambhar, others had chosen sambhar idlis and some asked about the idli – paya combo that was on the menu.
The menu will change for the evening, said staff here. On offer, kaima idli and kadubu idli.
