Musiri Subramaniam Road ( once known as Oliver Road) has been relaid from one end to the other.
Greater Chennai Corporation engineers oversaw this civic work this past week.
The facility will be welcomed by motorists who drive from the Alwarpet – Abiramapuram side to access areas off Luz and north Mylapore, most of which are off limits due to the ongoing Chennai Metro rail project work.
People who have to access St Isabel’s Hospital, Mylapore Fine Arts Club and Vivekananda College will also welcome the relaid facility.
