Clinic run by this church group has been on since 1942. In R. A. Puram

The Saint Vincent de Paul Society attached to Our Lady of Guidance Church in R. A. Puram  has been running a free medicare clinic named Ozanam Clinic – since 1942.

It is located opposite the church  on Lazarus Church Road and caters to people who need basic medicare.

It operates thrice a week – on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6.30 to 7 30 pm.
A general physician, Dr. Balaji  consults at this place. A qualified nurse, Bernadette also serves at this clinic, offering voluntary service.
Patients are not charged but they may make a donation here. Basic medicines prescribed by the doctor  are offered free of cost.
The Society also runs tailoring classes for women who are financially weak. These classes are held thrice a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
This unit of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, though small and compact, also carries out many projects through the year. The unit’s president is Vincent Maria Susai,
