Chennai South member of parliament, Thamizhachi Thangapandian of the DMK party has been getting a lot of criticism online for sharing the dais with poet Vairamuthu who has been accused of molesting women in the past.
Recently, the MP and Vairamuthu, besides other dignitaries, were seen on the stage at a literary meet.
Critics are asking the MP why she continues to be seen with a man against whom some 13 women have listed accusations of wrongful acts, double meaning conversations and attempts to get intimate. Leading that criticism and charge for a long time is playback singer Chinmayi.
The MP was also at the nasty end of severe comments when she expressed her displeasure at Air India downgrading her ticket. The content of her comments did not go down well with people who saw the post as being biased from someone who enjoys privileges.
