The community of St Thomas Cathedral in San Thome got together to host a fancy fete at the church campus last Sunday, February 9, This was part of the effort to raise funds for missionary work.
The day-long fete featured 26 food stalls which were the ones that drew most people here. There were 13 stalls exclusively for games for the children
The highpoint was the conduct of a raffle at the fete which offered some lovely prizes – tickets for Rs.100 each were sold for the raffle.
Parish priest Fr. Vincent Chinnadurai and his brother priests at the cathedral drew up the plans for this fete.
