The annual Tiruvempavai festival started at Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore on January 3 morning. ‘
This fest which celebrates poet-saint Manickavasagar, will go on till January 12.
Every day, the saint will be taken out in procession with a grand pancha-murthi procession due on January 12, Sunday after 8 p.m.
